A couple of nights ago, Dempsey and I had a date.  He and I went to a class in Takoma Park called Fun & Games recommended by Peaceful Dog. I rarely ever go anywhere with only one dog, so it was a special time for Dempsey and I.

This was a hands on class that would have been difficult to work with both Rizzy and Dempsey by myself. Also since it was our first time there, I wanted to try it out before I paid the price for two dogs. I figured this was a good opportunity for Dempsey to be exposed being around other humans and dogs that he is not used to.

The verdict of the class?? It was so much fun! Let me tell you, Dempsey is a rock star at tricks! We used to go to agility classes with him, and he was great!

And many other ‘tricks and games’. We worked on doing a high five, jumps, paws up and going through hula-hoops. Dempsey was right next to this other adorable dog, so he was concentrating fairly well! He was exhausted by the end of the class.
