On our third day we did not have anything planned. Just enjoy Airlie Beach! When we woke up it was sunny. Yay! We had breakfast at a health food store because they had awesome smoothies. Since they did not offer coffee we got coffee to go at Mr. Bones
Then we took a walk on the beach.
It started to get hot out and we were eyeing the sunbathers enviously. We knew once we got in our bathing suits and laid on the beach we would get cold, so we decided to go back to the pool and swim.
After our swim we went out for lunch and played some pool.
We also went shopping at billabong. I never shop there because they are generally very expensive. However Michelle and I each found dresses on clearance. Mine was only $ 10!!! Of course we had to model them off at the hotel.
One of the restaurants on the strip had happy hour on cocktails for $7 which is cheap for Australia.
They offered a chili beer which Matt tried. I thought it was absolutely disgusting and way too spicy! Matt said it was not that spicy. I think he was lying (if you look closely you can see the sweat dripping down his forehead)
Look how pretty our view was!
For dinner we ate at an Indian Restaurant. It was delicious. The restaurant was in a food court like place but with much cooler seats.
We figured it would be hard to eat and not spill our food all over our laps so we moved to a different spot to eat.
Check out this neat table piece. I kinda want to make it!
So let’s talk dessert. We went to an ice cream place just like Cold Stone called Cold Rock. Except a lot of their candy was different.
People from all over the world have been here.
What a wonderful after dinner treat.
After ice cream we went to a liquor store to pick up some beer for tomorrow. The cashier knows how to get tips!
