Our last day of Sydney
We have a shuttle picking us up at 1:30pm for our flight to Brisbane.
Our first adventure was a walk through the Royal Botanic Gardens.
The Royal Botanic Gardens are so pretty! It is right behind the Opera house and provides an awesome view of the Harbor.
Check out the oldest Eucalyptus tree in Sydney.
Now check out the scariest tree in Sydney!
After a couple of hours through the Gardens we took a walk to China Town to kill an hour before lunch.
We ate lunch at the hotel we were staying at because they are known for their pizzas. We split a small pepper kangaroo and a roasted pumpkin.
Both were absolutely delicious!
My favorite thing about Australian Cuisine is that pumpkin is a normal food and not just eaten as pumpkin soup or pumpkin pie in October/November.
During lunch we enjoyed a few schooners and minis. Another thing I love about Australian Cuisine is that if you want to have a beer you don’t have to have a full pint.
After lunch our shuttle picked us up and we were on our way to Brisbane to meet Michelle and James at the Sunny Coast!

What an awesome trip! I had no idea that pumpkin was a staple food there. Your pizzas look amazing (so do the trees). One tip for you, put an active link to your new site on your old blog – so we can just click over here when we forget and go there
