While we were eating dinner today, Rizzy decided to snack on some duct tape.

We knew she was too quiet!

So we call her Rizzy instead of Riesling. Initally we thought of the name Riesling because Riesling is a German wine, and she is part German Shepherd. But as time went on, Riesling got too hard to say all the time. So we shortened it to ‘Rizzy’. I think it is kinda cute.

So Matt is a teacher, which means he get some time off during the summer. However, I think that I enjoy his weeks off more than he does! Every day after work I get to come home to a meal, I feel like a princess! Many times the dogs have been exercised too! Don’t toot his horn too much, he doesn’t cook all our meals. Sometimes we may go out, or I will cook a meal or two.

So here is what he cooked the past two weeks.

Grilled Chicken Ceaser Salad.

He made his own dressing with sardines instead of anchovies!

Crab Dip with sauteed kale. Initially he just made the crab dip. When I asked what vegetables were in the meal, he said the are onions in the dip. We all know that is not going to fly, so I sauteed up some kale.

Godiva martini for dessert!

Lamb chops and a cucumber salad

Avocado & Edamame sandwich

Baked egg and veggie omelet

Lemon Feta pasta salad and Asian flavored eggplant

Everything was delicious! My favorites were the crab dip and baked egg omelet. I love eggs!

I love my his weeks off!

Try to stay cool. It is 102 degrees out here, and the dogs are not happy about it.
